Shannon has 8 years of guitar teaching experience as she has taught children and adults of varying abilities. She has entered many pupils in for graded examinations and currently holds a 100% success rate of a merit or above.

 

Shannon mentored at the World Youth Guitar Festival in 2015, where she helped and supported the students in guitar ensembles. Shannon is also a Guest Instrumentalist and Mentor of the Young Composers Project a scheme set up by Birmingham Conservatoire and composers Kirsty Devaney and Joe Cutler, to support young composers in the UK. In addition she also leads composing and educational music workshops in primary and secondary schools in the UK.

Shannon is a certified Angelic Reiki Master Teacher, Energy Healer and Meditation Teacher. She teaches in a very grounded, holistic way which helps mould and promote success in lessons and classes. She recently obtained her degree in Sound Medicine, Sound Therapy and Nāda yoga with the Vibroacoustic Therapy Association.
